MURALS

VALET LIVING | CORPORATE OFFICE HALLWAY | TAMPA, FL

Valet Living is a company that values diversity and environmental responsibility. As their office staff began to return to work after social distancing during COVID-19, they wanted an engaging way to welcome the team back to the office and showcase their values.

Using no-maintenance preserved moss, this concept gave Valet Living a “living” wall. Playing off the theme of “grow here”, this concept combined the growth of an organization, the growth of the careers of Valet Living associates and the growth of businesses and communities who choose to partner with Valet Living.

Commissioned by Valet Living via the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance.

PORTAL TO BLUE MOUNTAIN | Grand Boulevard Shopping plaza | SANDESTIN, FL

As the second commission from Grand Boulevard shopping center, this "#portaltoparadise features a window to the white sands and teal waters of the Emerald Coast. Native blue lupine flowers emerge from the dunes and a salty pelican makes his way across the beach at sunset.

Commissioned by Grand Boulevard at Sandestin via the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.

BE THE LIGHT | Grand Boulevard Shopping plaza | SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL

“For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it, if only we’re brave enough to be it.” -Amanda Gorman

Commissioned by Grand Boulevard at Sandestin via the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.

HILTON HOMEWOOD SUITES | PIRATE COVE SPLASH PAD | DESTIN, FL

The brand new Hilton Homewood Suites needed a “Disney-like”, pirate-themed mural along the fence line of their kids’ splash pad. The style needed to be playful, engaging and kid-friendly. They wanted bold, primary colors and a scene that continued the story of the pirate ship and sea creatures of the splash pad. With a salty parrot, a humble hermit and a chest of treasure, this mural invites families to take photos and create memories of their vacation that they’ll cherish for years to come.

BACKYARD MURAL | PRIVATE COMMISSION | TAMPA, FL

Sandy & Brendan both grew up in California where they could see Mt. Tamalpais in San Francisco on a regular basis. After living in Florida for many years, they wanted to beautify their (already jungalicious) backyard with a nostalgic taste of “home.” This #portaltoparadise mural features Mt. Tam, a red-tailed hawk (native to both CA & FL) and plumeria blooms.

Now they have a view of the mountain to enjoy again… and again.

CRISIS CENTER OF TAMPA BAY | THERAPY SERVICES HALLWAY | TAMPA, FL

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay was looking for custom artwork to warm their hallways in the therapy services center. Comments from staff and clients said that the space felt “sterile” and “like a hospital.” The goal for this mural was to create a visual that welcomed clients as they first enter from the waiting room and provide an ice-breaker for new clients and therapists to connect over.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay sees a variety of individuals and families who are dealing with abuse, mental health challenges, financial hardship and other personal obstacles. If you or someone you know is in the Tampa area and is in need of assistance, please call 2-1-1.

Dunes of DesTiN Castle | Private Commission | Destin, FL

My clients wanted to give their new rental property a vibrant, colorful addition to the pool deck. Before the walls were clean, but a dull gray (scroll to see before photos). Now they’re the perfect backdrop for a family vacation of pool playing, cookouts and unforgettable beach memories.

SHINE MURAL FESTIVAL 2018 | “PROGRESS” | PINELLAS TRAIL, ST. PETERSBURG

This mural was inspired by the 1985 portrait of Anna Lee Fisher, the first mother in space. Here, the female astronaut is reaching forward, toward the future, towards new beginnings, and a society where earth and women are respected as equally as men.

Transitions roadmap | j.w. cole | tampa, FL

J.W. Cole needed a creative, conversational mural to add to their office that showcased their “Transitions Roadmap.” This custom design incorporated the 5 Stages of their process so they can identify where their clients are along the journey. This mural features hand-lettering and custom illustrations.

home: stay-at-home mural festival | pangeaseed | jupiter, FL & global

Pangeaseed hosted a global, open call for artists to paint murals in the safety of their homes while sheltering in place due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we transformed drab white walls at our homes into visionary canvases for a brighter future. In response to COVID-19, and in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day (April 22), HOME was the world’s first stay-at-home environmental mural festival.

LAKE WORTH STREET PAINTING FESTIVAL 2019 | “FLORIDA PANTHER” | LAKE WORTH, FL

DORAL GLADES NATURE CENTER | EVERGLADES MURAL | DORAL, FL

This mural is the backdrop for a fully interactive everglades exhibit at the brand new Doral Glades Nature Center near Miami. The mural features silhouetted images of wildlife and plant life that occur naturally in the Florida Everglades. The green alligators are “actual sized” alligators, the largest being almost 18ft long, signifying the largest alligator ever found in Florida. The full mural consisted of 10 wall sections, over 4,000 sq ft of wall space.

If I brewed the world | brewery signage | st. petersburg, FL

If I Brewed the World is an emerging brewery in St. Petersburg and needed a “pop” to their exterior to get some attention. This mural features the brewery logo and tagline on the back of the building and simple, crisp black and white signage on the front. Both are boldly visible from the street.
